This is take two haha. My first draft is completely erased, so yay to a great first start. Anyways, here I am... remembering why I'm an ex passionate writer. All jokes, but seriously, my passion for writing definitely hit a block years ago. 3 years ago to be exact. I wouldn't say I grew up passionate about writing. It emerged in high school and intensified in my early 20's. Around my early 20's, I had a lot going on and I guess writing was a sort of escape for me. I'm proud to say I'm out of that rough patch, but I definitely lost my writing spark. With the loss of writing, I slowly started to notice the loss of my self identity. Like a slow burning candle, and when the flame finally went out... crickets. Actually, it was more like silence. No more rambling thoughts. No more crazily creative ideas. No more excitement in my self discovery. Don't get me wrong, it was amazing. I needed the silence so bad. But it came with the cost of erasing everything I knew about myself and starting over. I believe this whole blogging thing came at a great time. I got to take care of the most important thing, my mental health. And of course I got my ducks in a row regarding the foundational things like a job, school, and learning basic human interactions again. Now I feel like I can finally relax and indulge in my safe space of writing. I didn't want to get back into it until I was sure I could intertwine my chaotic mind and my peaceful silence. Anyways, thanks for tuning in and write ya next time. xo
